چکیده

Congenital Laryngeal Paralysis Congenital laryngeal paralysis has been reported in Bouviers des Flandres, bull terriers, Dalmatians, rottweilers, and huskies. Bouviers des Flandres and bull terriers have mostly been reported from Europe, the Dalmatians and huskies from the United States. Laryngeal paralysis has a hereditary transmission in Bouvier des Flandres with an autosomal dominant trait. Wallerian degeneration of the laryngeal recurrent nerves and abnormalities of the nucleus ambiguus are both present. Dogs with congenital laryngeal paralysis are clinical at an earlier age (before 1 year old) than dogs with acquired laryngeal paralysis.

Airway obstruction due to unilateral vocal fold paralysis.

Consensus regarding the use of this technique during thoracic surgery is lacking. We used intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring in a patient with contralateral vocal cord paralysis who was scheduled for comple...

Non-Selective Laryngeal Reinnervation for Unilateral Vocal Fold Paralysis

Common aetiologies of UVFPare iatrogenic, neoplastic and idiopathic. How...
